Stories and highlights
There's always something to celebrate at our school! From exciting events to proud moments and everyday wins, here are some of our highlights.
A year at our school

Our Annual Easter Hat Parade is a much-loved tradition at St Georges Basin Public School. Students, families and staff come together to celebrate with colourful, creative hats and plenty of smiles. It’s a wonderful opportunity for our school community to share in the joy, creativity and fun of the season.

The Book Week Parade is a highlight every year at our school. Students and staff dress up as their favourite book characters, bringing stories to life in a vibrant celebration of reading, imagination and creativity. It’s a great way to foster a love of books!

Each year, our students proudly participate in the local ANZAC Day march, honouring the service and sacrifice of Australian and New Zealand servicemen and women. This is a meaningful tradition that allows our school community to pay tribute, show respect, and reflect on the importance of remembrance.
"From the moment we walked through the gates, we felt part of something special. The teachers go above and beyond, and our child feels supported and proud to be part of the school." — a parent of St Georges Basin Public School
