Wellbeing and support staff
Our wellbeing and support staff guide student wellbeing, learning needs and inclusion. They work with teachers to make personalised adjustments. This means each child can take part fully in school life. We make our school welcoming and accessible to every child.

Supporting every student
At our school, we also engage additional staff to support students with a wide range of needs. Working closely with teachers, they help make our school an inclusive place for every child.

Shakeela Williams, Aboriginal Community Support Officer
With a strong passion for culture, connection and learning, Shakeela works alongside our students, staff and families to strengthen cultural understanding, celebrate Aboriginal culture, and foster meaningful partnerships within our community.

Kelly McDonald, Defence School Mentor
A Defence School Mentor (DSM) is a school employee dedicated to Defence students, funded by Defence Member and Family Support who can:
- Provide families with informartion about the school environment and the support available to assist with your child's schooling needs;
- Support students to access school based social and emotional support;
- Offer opportunities for students to build relationships and connections through events and other initiatives;
- Raise awareness in the school community about the impacts of the Defence lifestyle on students and families.
Administrative and operations staff
Our administrative and operations staff keep our school running smoothly. They support students, teachers and families every day. You can find them in our front office or on the school grounds.
